Pre-Registration Checking

The ``Pre-Registration Check'' panel is used to perform overview or chip registration on-screen for the purpose of previewing the expected registration results. The Pre-Registration Check panel can be popped up by selecting the ``Pre-registration Checking'' step on the main GCPWorks control panel when performing Image to Image tie-down, or Image To Vector tie-down.

The Pre-Registration panel contains a number of options for modifying the registration and mosaicking process and a button for performing overview registration. Pressing the ``Register Overview'' button will trigger pre-registration into the Georeferenced Image Overview window. To perform a full resolution chip registration, press the ``Load'' button on the ``Georeferenced Selection'' sub-window.

The registration/mosaicking in the Pre-Registration Check panel can only be performed with the currently loaded uncorrected and georeferenced image channels, even though other channels can be selected during the final ``Registration to Disk'' step.

The ``Disk To Disk Registration'' help contains detailed information on the meaning and use of the various registration options also available on the Pre-Registration panel.
